Just wondering what's the etiquette when you get blood on holds or the walls when you climb indoors.
In reply to Kassius:

Copious spit helps to remove blood stains.

Report it to the staff so it can be cleaned off?

Big Rock still has a mark where I whacked my knee on the wall hard in the early days due to a bit of slightly poor belaying (was pulled up but didn't get my feet in the right place). Climber was not dropped, however my knee hurt for a while. All the more obvious as the walls are painted white.

In reply to Kassius:

Clean off blood on holds - being sticky affects the grading.

Blood on walls is beausage and should be proudly left be.
In reply to Kassius:

Get a pen and surreptitiously make the appropriate change to the route description. For example "Green" should become "Green and Red Spots".

I've taken all this on board so when I turn up at my local wall smeared in my own blood and urine having just murdered someone and casually strolled off and telling the staff to clean up my fluids I'm gonna hold all you lot personally responsible for the looks and defamation I receive
