As in heading up in the car! It's a little difficult to see from the M6!

Ah, sorry. The way you wrote it it sounded like you were just setting off from the CIC hut.

Well I am heading up to the CIC tonight just wondering if crampons and axe required.

Climbed it a couple of days ago...no snow and there were 2 slings in situ at the gap.

Did you do the Douglas Boulder?

It looks like it's getting colder up there!

In reply to GStone:

No...started up East Gully ... Taking in the Douglas boulder makes it a much longer day ! And the weather was pretty minging !

In reply to GStone:

Like Jim says, no old snow on the Ridge. Douglas Boulder adds a deal of climbing and time to the route and is pretty damp at present (or was this week) even even when the Ridge itself is dry. Pics from monday http://alanhalewood.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/almost-too-fast-on-tower-ridge.h...
