Have a look at Setesdal.

I may have the guidebook for sale if you're interested.

There's a new-ish Oppdal and Sunndal guidebook that is easily available in Norway (not sure if sold in the UK yet). I have a spare copy for sale that I could post to you when in the UK during October where you interested.

Setesdal was awesome in January this year, plenty of parking in the valley with short walk inns and reliable ice as its further north. We sourced our guide book from the local sports/climbing shop in oppdal, if you go climb the classic Kongsvollfossen it's just great.
