Just wandering what uses people have come up with for unwanted hardgear, just binning it seems such a waste, looking for ideas thanks.

I rigged my kids' garden swings with old karabiners - was horrified to see how much they deteriorated after a winter outdoors in a salty environment. Also use some with cord to anchor the wheely bins to the wall.

Have also seen pics of karabiners used as coat pegs.

Old ropes donated to the local theatre - they always needs bits of rope to tie stuff up with apparently

You could just offer it on here (e.g. for the cost of post and packing).
