It could be a bit of a wild goose chase, but quite a few years ago, I bought a mug which was made in Italy, and for a while it was my 'new favourite mug', then my brother kept using it for his coffee until it mysteriously vanished, and then forgot the mug had ever existed when I asked after it.
By huge coincidence, round at my friend's house this evening, they had two mugs of the same design with the number and details of the shop/factory on the bottom of the mug, which they bought in Milan a few years ago.
If I was to secure a picture of the mug, if anybody speaks Italian, might they be able to ring the shop, and possibly-hopefully send them an email with the picture of the mug in, to see if they still make them?
Seeing the mugs of the same design seems to have 're-irked' me a tiny bit over my brother (quite probably) dropping my mug and forgetting all about it, and made me remember how much I like the design too.
I'll cross the bridge of sorting out buying a couple if/when I get to it.
