Straw and Rifkind 'broke no lobbying rules'

I see that the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner has cleared Jack Straw and Malcolm Rifkind of anything other than minor errors of judgement and a small technical breach of the rules on use of parliamentary resources (Straw had a meeting in his office, for which he says there were extenuating circumstances anyway).

And a couple of weeks ago it was suggested in the press that this did for Straw's peerage as well.

yea and if all the subbies in the world say it's ok to do homers, that'll be fine with the main contractor. After all their mates said it was ok!!!
