Hi folks,
Going up to NY this weekend so thought I'd ask for some local knowledge on conditions and some good crags to visit for a fairly relaxed vs to e2 ish trad day out.

If your near the Northern/Teeside area then a trip to Ravenscar/Wainstones would be worthwhile for VS-E2 routes. Plenty of moors classics (Satchmo, Grooves-ology, Fever Pitch, Ali Baba, Concave Wall, Harlotts Groove). Dont be put off by any apparent "green-ness" at Ravenscar, the popular routes are in good condition.

Yes, Tony Marr's spent a lot of time cleaning at Ravenscar this year so pretty much all the routes in the main crag are climbable (subject to weather!)
