Anyone been in this week? I'm certainly hoping it's dry after the last few days of good weather!

Thanks in advance
Dave

In reply to MrRiley:

Was up there on Sunday and while some damp kicking around there was no shortage of dry routes to have a go at.
Central gully wall was mostly dry
Broad terrace wall was damp but it takes the most drying out.
False Gully wall was dry 2 weeks ago and looked fine then.

I would suggest that it will be pretty good up there. What you hoping to do?

Excellent, thanks for the info! Something on Central Slabs or the King Rat area of CGW

Cheers,

Just in case anyone is on the fence about heading in this weekend.... most routes looked dry! Central Gully Wall especially so. There was some dampness here and there on Cyclops but nothing too dramatic - quartz corner a little moist and the exit pitch utterly gopping (can't imagine that ever drying out completely though).

Robbie and I climbed Dinosaur-Pink Elephant on Saturday. A great day and only one other team on the Dubh Loch as far as we could tell. However, it was much wetter than anticipated. Pitch 6 and 8 were soaking wet but good sport! A fantastic outing as always. Some pictures here: http://graniteandice.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/pink-elephant-hvs.html
