 Team BMC 01 Oct 2015
After the dust has settled on the first day of competition at the British Lead Climbing Championships this Saturday, BMC ambassadors Steve McClure, James McHaffie, Callum Muskett and Molly Thompson-Smith, joined by GB Team member Jim Pope will present a special evening of light hearted debate and discussion on all things climbing all hosted by the BMC's very own Niall Grimes.

Come down to Awesome Walls Sheffield on Saturday 3 October to see the UK's best climbers all sit down on a couch to answer questions from the audience, questions from each other and some weird and wonderful questions from our host Niall Grimes.

The Junior segment of the British Lead Championships will conclude at approximately 6:00pm and Niall will get the show on the road as soon as everyone has got themselves a burger from the Awesome Walls BBQ.

Starting at 7:00pm our ambassadors will have 5 minutes to introduce themselves to the crowd and give everyone a brief overview of who they are and what sort of climbing they are into - just in case you did not know already - see below for a quick overview.

Then our very own Grimer will take over the microphone and lead the couch based discussion on a merry dance through a myriad of climbing related topics such as who is the best climber on the couch, trad vs sport, Olympics or bust, in a very light hearted banter filled hour where the audience can get to know the BMC ambassadors and what makes them tick. The audience will be encouraged to chip in with their own questions and topics for discussion at any time.

All BLCC competitors will gain free entry to the evening show, but anyone else wishing to attend will be charged an entry fee of £4 on the doors and all proceeds will be donated to Climbers Against Cancer.
