Windgather Rocks

Hey

I am the current climbing captain from Liverpool University Mountaineering Club. I am taking about 30 new freshers to Windgather Rocks tomorrow (10th Oct) we will be setting up some top ropes on some of the easier climbs around High Buttress and Buttress 2 as well as teaching leading and seconding. We will try our best to not set up on any of the 3 star or 2 star routes in the area and I will try and keep this large group as respectful to the area and other people as I always attempt to be!

If you could ask your group to ensure they stay within the fenced areas that would be really helpful! I live just down the road and there has been some recent problems for local farmers with people looking for mushrooms! That time of year again and the area is well known for it, ta!

Remember to take some toilet paper but don't let them poo at the base of the crag

They all kept in the fenced areas I (and them) didn't realise that was even a thing in the area ☺
