Does my bloody head in.

If its been redesigned because of 'smart' phones then its simply a case of the tail now wagging the dog.

I don't possess a smart phone, but in general much prefer the new design.

I doubt it'll work on my ancient stupid-phone though, as the previous version was only just compatible. Maybe I'll need to bite the bullet and join the current decade.

Yeah, it seems a bit weird and is going to take a wee bit of figuring out but basically I don't think there is anything fundamentally wrong with it. I'm sure any minor things will soon be tweaked away and we'll be left with a very good FREE tool that is an improvement on what we had.

Updating any piece of software, no matter how intuitive you make it, people will always find the transition hard if they are used to a certain way of doing things. Give it some time and you'll get the knack of it. You might even eventually like it!

If you have some constructive feedback on the new logbooks then please do share this. "Does my bloody head in" doesn't really help us.
