I've put together a small write up of a few routes I've done during the last few months. Be warned, there may be headpointing involved

As always, constructive criticism is welcomed and appreciated. Enjoy!

The routes mentioned in the blog are:

Bob's Jolly Jape (E4 6a)
My Halo (E7 6b)
The Mentalist Cupboard (E7 6c)
The Roof Worrier (E4 5c)
Natural Born Chillers (E6 6a)

Good stuff, going up onto Kinder to do those lines. You should head up to Wilderness Rocks next for more of the same, but better.

I've been doing the same sort of thing at Running Hils Pits - Saggitarius Flake, Passport to the Pits etc and it's great fun. I'm sure I'll get round to leading these things at some point.

Cheers, some great routes up there. Will have to check out Wilderness Rocks, as for the Northern Edges I want to try Highball That You Bastards! (E7 6b) and The Shock of the New (E7 6c).

Taking bets on how long it will be before a certain someone comes along & criticises your successful few weeks

He can say what he likes. A week after doing Natural Born Chillers (E6 6a) I did Artless (E5 6b) onsight, probably my hardest to date! I wouldn't have had the confidence for that if I hadn't had my successful headpoints.

A nice First Onsight awaits someone (too hard for me, alas... at the moment, anyway).

Yeah man! Will be great fun committing to the mantle onsight.

I've actually got videos of all these ascents but I'm currently saving them up with the eye to putting a little edit together.

100% agree, headpoint is a great way to increase onsight grade

It just really seems to work well for me - which I guess is all that matters!

So as of today my blog just tipped over 11,000 views! Thanks to everyone that reads and (hopefully) enjoys my ramblings about climbing.
