Bit of a very long shot, but I was trawling through my old cheddar guide and saw Danger Bird. I've always looked at the massive offwidth to the right of the Corrie belay and wondered how hideous it would be. Its given E3 5b... I'm assuming because the offwidth would only take massive cams and be very hard to protect... Anybody know anything or even better done it and can offer any information? I assume i'd need an industrial birds nest removal machine to make it though, but i can't but wonder...
Not much help, but I've also looked across and wondered about that crack. It would have to wait for a sufficiently masochistic day, but it is strangely enticing. I'll come back to you if I get round to doing it!
I looked at it and thought it was about to fall off the crag! That pinnacle doesn't look like its supported by much. Probably solid but made me shudder. But yeh a lovely line!
