Let Us Notify You...

In such a fast moving world it's hard to keep up with everything that's going on...

Here at Awesome Walls there's always something happening on a regular basis but it's hard to tell everyone as each person has their preferred method of communication and a small minority would rather not be contacted at all!

Here's a few examples of why we'd like to 'Notify' you-

Route/Problem Setting- With setting happening most weeks at Awesome Walls, wouldn’t it be great to know what's new for your next visit?
Freebie Days- Yes, it does happen! Through certain channels we'll have days where you can claim certain 'freebies'. This could be anything from a free climb to a cup of tea!
Parties- Everybody loves a good party and here at Awesome Walls we're no exception! Whether it's an anniversary, staff member, promotion or just for the hell of it, let's party!
Charity Days- We hosted several charity events that have boosted the funds for vital causes. Often you just have to turn up and eat cake to help out!
Competitions- We're proud to work closely with the BMC and other bodies to host climbing competitions. A lot of work goes into competitions; Stripping the walls, setting, competition day, cleaning holds, re-setting.
Wall Closures- Occasionally certain parts of our walls are closed for route setting, cleaning, group use, maintenance or competitions.
Changes- Life goes on and nothing stays the same for long. Whether it's opening times, prices, sessions, new staff or new walls, we'd love the opportunity to notify you.

Notification Channels
There's so many ways that we can keep in touch these days, it all gets a bit boggling! I'll try and talk you around to what we can do and how it may work for you-

Email- There's no denying it but email is our number one tool to keep you informed. As we started with our new till system 'Rock Gym Pro' we've managed to refresh our email database. With our new system we can notify select groups with specific information. For instance, there's no point sending a blanket email to everyone informing them of our next Halloween Kids Party but we'd send one out to everyone about our Christmas opening times.
We promise not to sell our database on and we'll desperately try and send you useful content that's direct and to the point (I hate those waffling ones a bit like this!).

Facebook- Now here's one with mixed emotions. Most people I know either love it or hate it. Those that are in the hate camp are probably basing their opinions of the bad press that Facebook usually receives by all the other haters. I'm not hear to sway you either way but let's just say I've had my eyes opened and there's a whole new world out there and it doesn’t involve robbing all your data and selling your Grandmother!

The Awesome App- In this little bundle is an abundance of awesome information. Think of it as a very easy navigationally mini web site where you can find everything about us and with tools too find a partner, share pictures and most importantly receive short update messages.

Twitter- Admittedly Twitter is not our main source of information but we do try and post important news here and it's very handy for customers to tweet and tag us about their activities.

Instagram- We have set up an Instagram account that covers all four Awesome Walls. This will be used to showcase our facilities and the great climbers that use us.

So, apart from coming around and knocking on your door or phoning every individual up we think we've got it covered. As time moves on there'll be many more opportunities as to how we can pass our news on but I guess we'll have to just wait and see!
