This week's Friday Night Video features Canadian climber WIll Stanhope soloing in Squamish in British Columbia, on the renowned Stawamus Chief.
The route is 1,000 ft to the valley floor following a crack and corner on the North face of the Chief - High Plains Drifter - graded 5.11c. In this video, Will explains how free soloing is not about pushing your abilities to the limit, but rather climbing within your means to enjoy the freedom on the rock.
