Was planning on getting out tomorrow round the peaks but unfortunately it's raining for the majority of the day! Anybody recommend any crags that are well sheltered, any that maybe stay dryish in the rain?

Cheers

Lawrencefield can be OK provided it isn't too heavy.

As in Raven.

I'd go indoors or do something else personally.

You're going to struggle to find anything dry that's in your grade range. You'll need to be getting into f7b+ to get onto the warm up routes. There are some limestone bouldering spots that'll be dry.
This type of thread comes up a fair bit on here, have a search.

New mills tors stay reasonably dry under the bridge, and a short trip to a couple of walls should you decide you have had enough of the weather

There are two good cave routes at Shining Cliff and if the skylight exit is gopping you can climb one and come down the other.

Preposterous Trails (HS 4b)
Purgatorial Progress (VS 4b)

At Birchen there is the fabulously daft testpeice, Pieces of Eight (p.263 BMC Froggatt guide ) which the Birchen moderator doesnt seem to have added the right name.

There are also Troglodytes Tours in all three Eastern Edges BMC guides .. the Burbage one having many very suitable options for fun on a damp day.

Most climbing on wet grit isnt a good idea as its hard to keep footwear clean and wet sand significantly increases erosion on the rock. These routes above were designed to offer guilt free wet day options 'indoors' outdoors.
