Hello - it's making slow but steady progress and, in keeping with how parkrun like to do things, I am not going to say too much because they like to keep things low key so as not to get hopes up when nothing is finalised. I will summarise as follows:
* We've been looking at 4 different routes. We have permission on 3 of them and have not approached the owners for the 4th as yet.
* One of the 4 has been eliminated as it is likely to cause too much conflict with cyclist groups.
* Of the two we have permission for, both have quirks of the route that we need to iron out to ensure we are within the parkrun rules.
* We have secured the required funding.
* We have worked closely with parkrun and we are going through the process (slowly and steadily) of homing in on the right location and route.
I would say to be optimistic but also patient!
