The cold snaps have been timed nicely for weekend warriors recently with good coverings to low levels. Not aware of any action last weekend but I had a good romp with clients up Blaven on Saturday. Glad to have taken the harnesses for the wee step between the tops that felt fairly sketchy.
Snow level had risen a lot overnight before a refreeze so Beads Murdo and I had to head high for good mixed. We were rewarded with a great new route that starts where The Deadline (III) bears hard right. We christened our open book corner The Breadline, V,5; full tale on the blog here-
