If you haven't seen 'The walk', I'd thoroughly recommend it. A 5 star film.

Just wondering and providing you've seen it, how does it compare with the non too shabby documentary film from back in the day?

No I didn't see that so I can't comment.

It was very well put together though, and acted.

Quite some story.

I saw it last night. An absolute cinematic masterpiece, a work of art of the highest order. A straight 5 stars, and worthy of many Oscars.

It wins on all counts. Quite superb CGI, so that it's the first CGI movie that for me never once looked like a CGI movie (Oh - except for the wonderful Paddington) - making those recent space movies look positively amateurish. A superb script, brilliant cast, superb cinematography so that almost every shot is a work of art, and above all, magical. Also, so human.

The main star playing Petit in partic was superb, and Ben Kingsley gave a stunning performance.

But it's wrong to single out the ingredients because it all worked as one hermetic whole. Zemeckis is a genius.

... As you can see, I liked the film

It doesn't as with all shite modern remakes, Hollywood gloss and CGI!
