Will be getting a laptop...........so which one??

Its use will be storing a few thousand photos , email, ebay, youtube, etc it needs a dvd player with decent speakers and to have a 15 inch screen. Want it to run fast as dont like waiting for things to happen.

No doubt it will be used for other things but not sure what.

Wont be used for gaming. Will be taking it away while sleeping in van, so want one thats a bit tough. Was considering a Lenovo but the company is state owned by China so thats a no go.

So which one.............Thanks

Don't waste money buying one with decent speakers, just get some external speakers.

Win 7, DVD, 8gb ram,i5

You could probably do better, but that took only a few seconds.

Edit:

Try this one

A refurbished Mac Air or something like that? I'd never go back to a "normal" laptop so to speak. Have had a Macbook Air for 5 years and it is outstanding. You can get decent deals on refurbished models for maybe an extra £150 on top of your budget.

If you want a windows one Dell refurbished are good value. They're basically as good as new. Dell don't make the best laptops in the world but with the reduction they are good value. My advice with buying a laptop would be work out how much you can spend, work out what operating system you want (windows or iOS (apple)), work out what size you want, and then go with the principle that more is better i.e. more ram, processor etc.

Windows 10 is not bad either. Best windows for a bit.

Dell refurbished.
