Getting to jotunheimen national park

A friend and I are planning on doing a ski touring trip to Jotunheimen National Park in Norway. Does anyone have any advice about the best way to get there, eg flight and then public transport?

The DNT lay on a regular service from Oslo to the Jotunheimen National Park. I do remember it all being remarkably straight forward.

We saw several express busses when we were there this summer, which had come from Oslo's main airport.

When were you planning to go? Many of the roads are closed through winter until around Easter time.
