Worth lubricating post-cleaning(*)?

Any opinions on this and if so what's best to use?

*Quick soak & scrub in warm water

I use Gt85 on cams as it's less sticky than other lubes so does not attract dust etc.

Any spray lube will do but the less sticky the better, I used some lock oil spray on my cams. Just make sure you avoid getting any on the sling, or any other part of the cam for that matter, you just want it on the hinge mechanism. After spraying retract the cam several times to let the oil work it's way in then give them a quick wipe off with a paper towel.

Cams, yes. Dry teflon bike lube is my current favourite, but only because that's what I've got lying around.
In reply to liam:

Silicone spray for me!
WD-40 silicone lube from Screwfix, has one of those built in fine tube nozzles that lets you direct and limit the spray, and the smallest little squirt is all you need,
Silicone attracts less dirt than the oil based lubes.
