this winter at Plas y Brenin we've teamed up with UKClimbing.com and Mountain Equipment to bring you this weekend of Scottish winter mountaineering and climbing.
Based at Altshellach, our comfortable headquarters in Scotland, this weekend is designed to get you to up into the mountains as well as get you together with other climbers and mountaineers to enjoy some good company as you enjoy take in lectures and presentations courtesy of UKClimbing and Mountain Equipment.
You can choose from a variety of courses and running over the weekend which span a wide range of levels of experience, so there should be something to suit absolutely everyone.
Each course includes top flight instruction and all technical equipment hire, all your meals (including your packed lunch), afternoon tea and cakes, a comfy bed for two nights and two day's mountaineering in some of the most stunning mountains the UK has to offer.

Are the lectures open to people not buying top flight instruction and if so is there a list of who is speaking?

Is it just me or it is far to expensive? I mean for same money one can hire one-on-one instructor in Alps.
