So we have bombed some oil pumps....who do you think died in the process? Isis fighters or Syrian locals working with a gun aimed at them by Isis?

On top of a few articles relating to ISIS actively trying to recruit workers, this FT piece provides a bit of an insight into the oil fields

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I thought that the rebels and others we want to support, i.e. those fighting ISIS, are totally dependent on fuel from these oilfields for their operations. Won't bombing the oilfields result in less "on the ground" opposition to ISIS? OK, it might hurt revenue stream for a while, but given that they've made billions from selling oil already they probably have cash in the bank to tide them over.
