Any ice-climbing near Kathmandu?

I am moving to Kathmandu in March.
Does anyone here know whether there are any low-altitude (sub-4500m) ice-climbing routes that are even vaguely accessible from Kathmandu. Expedition mountaineering aside, I'm wondering whether to take ice-climbing gear.
Many thanks, Leonard

take it with you there is pretty full on ice not that for from namche bizarre which is only a. short flight away. logically there must be plenty more but I think you can forget about day hits!

In reply to Leonard Tedd:

Without flying to Namche, I reckon the closest would be in Langtang, which is a day's drive then two days walk away. I was there in late March years ago and the north-facing icefalls along the valley had already begun to melt.

Rolwaling also has many ice routes, more than Langtang, but that is even further away.

In a valley 5hrs west of Jomsom, I saw remnants/beginnings of water ice forming but it was barely there and hard to get to - not a day trip.
