Lowe Alpine is one of the most widely recognised brands in the outdoor industry today. We have been making quality backpacks and travel luggage for adventure enthusiasts since 1967 and continue to lead our field with innovative, forward-thinking products that allow people to go further and explore more.

This is a new position to support our growth plans and a fantastic opportunity to join a small but successful UK sales team.

One of the keys to our success is that retail staff have the knowledge and expertise to talk to their customers with confidence about our products, so we are looking for an outdoor enthusiast who understands our products, our customers, and has the ability and presentation skills to inspire retail staff with our brand message and product knowledge.

As a technical sales trainer you will travel extensively throughout the Southern half of the UK and will ideally be based in the south east of England. You will be visiting key accounts where you will be responsible for the motivation and training of retail personnel. Your goal will be to promote our brand values and the technical specification of the Lowe Alpine products and to develop excellent lasting working relationships.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well organised and a great communicator. You may already be working in outdoor retail or elsewhere within the outdoor industry and will be passionate about the outdoors. You may have a background in Sales, Training and/or teaching. The role involves regular travel away from home to cover the large territory, as well as regular visits to the Lowe Alpine offices in Alfreton and Kendal and some weekend work at trade shows etc.

In return we can offer a varied and interesting role, competitive salary, company car and benefits including pension scheme and generous staff discount.

The exact territory boundary to be covered will be determined partly by the home location of the successful candidate but is broadly the southern region of England.

It is essential you have a full clean driving licence and the right to work in the UK as both will be verified prior to appointment.
