Whats the track from the north face car park to the dam like. It was quite potholed the last time I was up and was wondering if its ok for a car or do I need an off road vehicle.

In reply to Root1: We drove up it yesterday in a Ford Focus with no issues. There are pot holes but nothing major. We parked about 100 meters below the north face carpark. All other cars were there too. We could have gone higher in retrospect.
