The University of Sheffield Mountaineering Club Charity Naked Calendar is here!

The calendar costs £10 +postage and all profit goes to the Jake Shaw Climbing Trust.

The Trust was set up by Jake's friends and family after he died whilst volunteering as a climbing instructor in Switzerland last summer, aged 21. Jake was an ex-member of the Club who loved climbing and mountaineering, and always wanted everyone to get involved and to have fun. The Trust aims to build a climbing wall in Jake's old school, to help young people discover and get into the sport.

The Calendar itself is very tasteful, all photos are in black and white and include male and female students. There is a solo of Flying Buttress Direct, winter mountaineering on Crib Goch, and climbing in the Lakes, among many other things!

In reply to Sheffield Uni Mountaneering:

Apart from the fact "Mountaneering" is misspelt, when did you change the from SCUM to SUMC?
 charvey 21 Dec 2015
In reply to galpinos:

SCUM was shut down years ago. The USMC used to be called the high peak club.

was one of the pics taken on Am Bodach? we were there in the last week of september, it was baltic on top so we were quite impressed when a group of studenty types arrived, got their kit off and started taking photos. A tad chilly we thought

As much as we'd like to claim responsibility for that, it wasn't us! We didn't make it up to Scotland at all in our photoshoots, although there is one of two guys waist deep in a Bleaklow bog which might have been as cold?!

Oh well, whoever they were, E for Effort
In reply to pebbles:

Just a quick note to say that we have them for sale at Awesome Walls Sheffield.

Well done all
In reply to Sheffield Uni Mountaineering: Good show chaps. The link on Crag X shows that the thing is sold out so that's that I guess. Print more next time is the lesson there!
