What do people think - likely that any non turf based mixed routes will be climable tomorrow or will it all be stripped from today?

Judging by the forecast the only thing that might be above freezing looks to be The Ben high crags. I imagine it to be totally soaking getting up there through the wet snow for a slim punt at climbing. I'd not bother to be honest. Good luck if you go for it!

Yes, there'll be mixed climbing tomorrow. It won't be a very friendly day, though. Beware the wind.

Looking out the window today things are a lot blacker in Lochaber. The bigger drifts are there but reduced but its only been raining for a couple of hours. The snowpack was moist yesterday right up into the gullies in Coire na Ciste and although the crags were frozen the freezing level was only a little below the base of the crags there (icicles still dripping at the Ciste Lochain). Its been up to 5 degrees on top of Aonach Mor today with a warm mild hairdryer wind so some of the ice present on faces and steep mixed yesterday will have gone. MWIS are calling the freezing level 800m tomorrow but its felt milder than they have called it every day I've been out for the last 3 weeks.
