I£ve amassed a couple too many pairs of touring boots and ahead of a move, I£m having a clear-out, hence the bargain prices. Both boots are around a UK 9.5 and are in London (SW4 and EC2) if you£d like a look and a try.

La Sportiva Spectres (2015 version)

Size: Mondo 29.5
RRP: £470. These have only had 2 weeks' skiing in them.
Price: £175 ONO (+postage)

An epic modern touring and free ride boot. Loads of control, super light and incredible to walk in, you'd not believe how comfy these things are on the up and how stiff they are on the down. Classic La Sportiva fit so if Nepal Extremes are good for you, these will be too. Genuine Dynafit fittings, in good condition. They had the Dynafit Beast heal units on them so the heal pieces fitted now are unused (see pics).

Sole Length is 324mm

Scarpa Typhoon (2012 version)

Size: Mondo 29
RRP: £490
Price: £75 ONO (+postage)

One of the stiffest back country boots out there. These have had 5 weeks' skiing in them but still in really good conditions. Intuition liners so re-mouldable and super comfy. These come with two tongues, one set more flexible for touring and the others give stiffness for days when it's all about the down-hill so nice flexibility here.

Clarification on sizing:

The Scarpas are actually a 28.5-29 shell
The Spectres are a 29 with insoles 287mm long.

I'm between a UK 9.5 and 11 (EU43-45) depending on the manufacturer and with ski boots, I've found the mondo to be a guide but not the be all and end all: it's as much about the inner as anything else.
