Can anyone recommend somewhere doing a good deal? Best I've found is Facewest at £36 each ( still not worked out why they don't sell in pairs and do a deal). Krukonogi are out of stock on Quark picks at present. Cheers.

FWIW I failed to find any particularly good deals last year so you're not alone in feeling the c.£70 is a lot of money.

Try kuzniaszpeju. Polish company, T rated picks and they're about £18 each. Just got an order and reasonably impressed with them so far. Still not used them in winter (only tooling) but reckon they'd be fine. Only down side is delivery costs are high so you'll want to get a group order.

There were some rumours that other brands fit Quarks.

I have heard someone mentioning Singing Rock Bandit picks to be suitable, but for me it looks like it wouldn't. I got those ice axes and if you are around Glasgow, I am happy to let you try them. Picks are dirt cheap, both dry and ice are T-rated.
