Hello. I'm heading to Scotland from Chamonix next week, there for 10 days and looking for cheap accommodation. Where's best to stay around the aviemore area? Thanks

Having been a bit of a latecomer to the concept of youth hostels, I can thoroughly recommend them.

There's one in Aviemore, and one near Glenmore Lodge as well as numerous others in the area.

Why didn't you give this thread the title "Cheap accommodation in Aviemore", if that is what you're looking for?

This might be worth a punt. I know its not Aviemore but i have driven from here to the Cairngorms in the morning. Definitely worth the extra petrol money.
