Just been checking and it looks like Easyjet flights to Kalymnos will not start until May this year. I believe the alternative is UK to Athens then Athens to Kalymnos. Is it a hassle or straightforward?

Ryanair fly to Kos (from Stansted) from 1st April, Easyjet start 30th April (from Gatwick).

Going via Athens isn't necessarily a hassle - the onward flights are with Aegean - if the times are right. You can actually choose to fly into Kalymnos too! In March we are flying Manchester > Athens > Kos with Aegean all the way. Very civilised times and reasonable prices - £120 each.

Thanks Chris. Believe it or not in all my years of travelling I've always flown direct and never had to catch connecting flights. I'm still deciding whether to go in March and stay for a month but I can't get anyone else interested so it may just have to be 2 weeks in April.
