Parents have offered to buy me a workhorse sport and indoor rope and have been recommended the edelweiss Python, anybody got any opinions on this rope before I agree?

It's a good workhorse sport and indoor rope. Not a top-of-the-range rope, but good value for money (and that's what you want indoors, anyhow).

Why buy anything but a good hardwearing rope , @ 10mm its not exactly thick and i don't think it would be the difference between success and failure on a route. Had one for a year and its wearing very well and handles nicely too

I have had one for the last couple of years and really like it. Feels OK in use and extremely hard wearing. One thing that is annoying is that it picks up dirt makes my hands black.

I have had a couple for two years now and they have been great to use. Defo value for money, I'll buy again.
