Hi guys just wondering how hard to approach from the lift to the climbers col is heading towards Coire an Lochain. Good paths? or would it be a honking pow fest with the recent snow? Cheers

remember you can get a chair lift from the end of the gondola. That leaves about a 20 min slog up to the summit along the side of the ski runs, its normally fine. Make sure the descent in to easy gully is safe as its quite avalanche prone. If its safe people normally ab in off a snow bollard. If its not safe the only option is to ab down the crag and leave some tat (I've not done this so can't advise where is best to do that)

pick up one of the piste maps so you can use the lifts etc to aid navigation.

be careful on the plateu as it's a big drop if you get it wrong in poor vis.

Also E Face of Aonach Mor as well as being avalanche prone can very often have massive fairly continuous cornices. Given the resent wind directions they shouldn't be too bad but they could be fragile. The SAIS Lochaber blog often has pictures and info.
