Peak weather conditions

Can anyone please tell me what the conditions are like in the peak at the moment, particularly around edale/mam tor area? Much snow/ice about? Are the roads ok? Thinking of going out there for a run tomorrow.

Also if anyone could point me to a website that has this sort of info on it that would be much appreciated.

There's some snow up on the hills around The Cat & Fiddle.
Anyone with any news about Chew Valley for this weekend?

Bit sloppy and wet near windgather....will freeze tonight so likely to be slippy tomorrow..

My daughter (4) has been desperate to see some snow all winter (and me too!).

We are in Manchester so thinking of driving out to the Peaks today - any suggestions?

Weather forecast suggests prob not much at Lyme Park - which would be first choice.

park at the top of snake pass and walk up towards Bleaklow, turn round when you fancy it
probably more frost than snow but views should be good

Not headed out in the end but might get a chance tommorow.

I've just been up at the cat and fiddle and there is still plenty of snow above 500m but not much below that. It's just started snowing again now so should be something around tomorrow.

Main roads are fine, minor ones icy. Just started snowing lightly.
I go past the Winnats/ Mam Tor on the way into work & if it's snowy put pics and temp & weather details on the shop's facebook page.

Thanks all, had a good run around there in the end. Fair bit of snow about, and some ice but theroads were ok. There's snow down to the road on mam tor.
