Berwyns - Winter conditions / ski touring

I'm toying with some ski touring on the Berwyns in the week and wondered if anyone has a heads up on local conditions.

I'm minded to head up towards pistyll rhaeadr from Llangynog which may give access to some grassy slopes on the way back.

My Brother was up there yesterday, 2 feet of unconsolidated snow so, probably good for touring.
