I like to mount my Gopro on my bike handle bars. I use a standard bar mount to which the camera attaches with the screw fitting.

I also like to remove the camera whilst riding to film from other viewpoints.
It's a pain having to undo the screw, more so if I then want to fit it to any other mount - They all have a quick release plate.

Has anyone come across an adapter such as these

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00D7C4CLQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UT... - Not actually available.
http://www.sp-gadgets.com/en/mounts/mounts-2/clip-adapter-2 - Seems expensive and is shipped from the USA I believe.

I'm surprised this isn't a commonly available and relatively cheap item.

Failing that - Any one know of bike bar mount that accepts a standard Gopro quick release?

Cheers.

No one like to take their Gopro on and off their bike mount quickly?
Maybe I should have asked in the bike forum?

A very easy thing to make on a 3d printer. you just need to throw together the design and find someone to print for you (I would but I'm waiting for new printer parts)

Shows them as available ? Loads of options out here for this type of thing:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Excelvan%C2%AE-360-degree-Rotation-Handlebar-Seatpo...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Quick-Release-Bicycle-Camera-Adapter/dp/B00J2XHJ3C/...

I don't consider anything too expensive for gopro compared to their own mounting brackets !!

In any case the one in your second link is available in the UK.....

On the page I linked to it says 'Available from these sellers. 1 new from £8.99'. Click the link to see it and it says 'There are currently no listings for this product.'
Been like that for weeks.

Doesn't actually use the Gopro QR fitting - means You can take the fitting off the bike quickly, but not the camera off the fitting.

Interesting - Is 'Compatible with adhesive GoPro plates on helmets or boards'. So an option,
Not so sure about how easy it is to move the mini blocs between bikes for different shoots.
Definitely an option, and have bookmarked for later.

True. Very true.

More to the point - They deliver to France, where I live, for a reasonable fee and I have ordered a couple.
We have a winner. Thank you for your reply.

They're a very simple solution to an annoyance and I would be surprised if they weren't very easy to make.

Can you not print the spare parts for your printer? Oh.
