Hi ,

I have brought a pair of Rab Vapour Rise Guide pants. I'm now thinking they may be to warm for Alpine summer use.
Has anybody else used them and can anybody recommend another pair for summer alpine.
Thanks

Job done.

The fly even undoes upwards! Most useful when Little LP has shrivelled in fear (and you have a harness on).

...and most importantly, if you forget what you're doing, you just unzip the side vents and what does it say? ALPINISM

Ventilation zips make huge deference.
Summer alpinism is very hot.

Another option is to go in leggings and put shell at night or in shadow. It may be not that easy with crampons and you need to carry it in a backpack.

I suggest lightweight softshell, something like the Montane Terra trousers.

I have a pair of Rab Vector pants which work well for summer alps and spring/autumn UK hill bashing. Not too spendy either.
