Two of the world’s best professional climbers are visiting the climbing wall at Wirksworth Leisure Centre on Sunday 24 April.
James Pearson and Caroline Ciavaldini will deliver a masterclass and talk at the Derbyshire Dales District Council facility - with only 36 places available for the masterclass climb on a first come, first served basis.
Morning and afternoon sessions will comprise:
• 10.00am - 11.00am: Talk followed by (11am – 12.30pm) masterclass climb (18 spaces)
• 1.30pm - 2.30pm: Talk followed by (2.30pm – 4.00pm) masterclass climb (18 spaces).
The 36 masterclass climb places are available on a first come, first served basis from 4pm on Wednesday 20 January. It’s £15 adults for a combination ticket (£12 concessions).
Talk-only tickets are available for the morning and afternoon sessions with a maximum 200 places for each. Prices are £7 adults (£5 concessions).
The Face climbing wall will not be available for general climbing during the masterclasses.
