Cleaning of technical clothing?

Just a few questions:

1) should soft shell clothing (scholler) be dried on a radiator? will it restore its DWR coating?

2) can goretex jackets be dried in the same way?

I'd dry in an airing cupboard, above a radiator or in a tumble dryer. To reactivate DWR either tumble dry on low heator cover with a damb sheet and iron on low heat.
Draping them over a radiator might be ok but it would depend perhaps on how hot your radiators get.
