Guidebooks for new areas

Hi folks,

I have heard tell of teams heading out to new areas with the aim of researching and writing guidebooks. This sounds like a lot of fun and I'd like to get involved. Does anyone know of any teams involved in this kind of thing?

You've got to find your own new area and take it from there. Which is a lot easier than most people think. Two examples are http://uniqueascent.ie/undiscovered_donegal and http://www.orkney-seastacks.co.uk Lots of time is the key ingredient
