I will be be in Snowdonia for the next ten days but have just realized that I forgot to pack my crampons (sadly, they are still standing on my dining table at home!) Are there anywhere near Llanberis where it is possible to hire/loan crampons for three days?

My boots are Makalu size 47!! so any solution/advice would be appreciated

not sure if you'll need crampons at the moment but a couple of weeks back the cotswold outdoor outlet shop in betws-y-coed had a couple of really cheap pairs (i think 30/40 quid) which may be cheaper for 10 days.

my inquiry was aimed at the snowfall yesterday and today and looking at the forecast for the rest of the week I was just contemplating how it would all pan out.... I will keep an eye of for the weather forecast and make a call when needed
