I made a bootable USB Windows 10 recovery drive using a 128Gb USB pen drive not thinking that it uses FAT32 and so the drive is now just 32Gb.

I would like to correct my mistake and Format the 128Gb pen drive as 128Gb NTFS. Then I can use a 32Gb USB pen to make up a recovery drive instead.

But when I try to Format the 128Gb pen in NTFS it still just shows up as 32Gb. How can I get it to be 128Gb before I cocked it up?

Thanks

Sounds like you need to delete the partition from the usb drive via disk management and start over, this link should help.

It showed the rest unallocated so I then used DISKPART and extended it. Now have 128GB
Thanks
