Hey guys just need to know if anyone knows the problem with my car
So i was driving on the motor way at 60mph or higher and my daughter was driving behind me and said that acansionally my exhaust would spark she said it was like when u burn a piece of paper and orange bits fall of and that was what it was like i dont know if it
The turbo but if anyone knows please let me know
P.S my car is a peugeot 207 an 07 plate

Its probably carbon being blown out. If the car appears to be running OK and not makeing any strange noises then see how it goes. If you are worried then go to your local mechanic and see what he says. Keep clear of Hafrauds and the like, they have a tendancy of emptying your wallet.

Since you say it's turbo I'm assuming that's diesel. It's probably hot carbon or possibly flakes of hot rust from the exhaust. It's also possible something is dragging/bouncing against the road, maybe the spare wheel carrier if Peugeot still put them under the boot floor or a saggy exhaust. Most likely hot carbon.
