Pretty shameful manipulation of the story going on by the media. Read the details: they have 58 suspects of which there are 25 Algerians, 3 Tunisians and 21 from Morrocco, 3 refugees from Syria and Iraq and only 3 German citizens. It's not surprising they have more success finding people who have been in Germany for a while, they're probably chasing everyone with a record for pick-pocketing or sex assaults.
So first we get a story with the headline that only 3 of the suspects being refugees from Syria and Iraq with the other data that 49 of 58 were from North Africa buried in the middle of the article and then the next day they have a comment piece which goes the whole way with the not 'brown skinned muslims' thing which implies that anyone who was blaming muslims was racist and blatantly ignores the actual numbers from the police (at least 52 out of 58 suspects).
