According to reports on twitter. R951 on route to the scene.

Details sketchy but just spotted this right now.

Fingers crossed that anyone involved is okay.

Funny isn't it ....at the bottom of the same news page it reports of someone dying in a car crash. Terrible news also. But we don't hear people banging on about banning driving !
In reply to afshapes: Tragic news, from both Lochaber and down in the borders

I've just seen that the MRCofS have offered Kaye Adams a winter day out with Heather Morning!

Poor Heather.....

In reply to drunken monkey:

Unfortunately the two involved where in my climbing club (Derwent Mountaineering Club). I regret to say that there was a fatality and the other is thankfully in a stable condition in hospital.
I don't want to release names at this point, out of respect to those who are still coming to terms with this very sad news.

Sad news indeed. My condolences. It's not been a good week out in the mountains. I hope people will take extra care with the snow conditions over the next few days so that there are no more accidents.
