Hi looking at getting a new single rope and found the Beal stinger iii 9.4 dry which seams to fit my bill
I like to do high grade scrambles, winter climbing and the occasional sport or trad climbing but wanting to increase this.
The only thing that concerns me is that Beal say the rope is for high grade climbers and not amateurs but as the rope is quite tough and light it's more to do with the smooth running and diameter and belaying would need to be done with a smaller device
Also had a look at the Mammut Gravity 10.2 which is a lot heavier but looks tougher
Any thoughts
