Who's excited for the best part of the cycling season - spring classics time.

First up an aperitif > Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.

One last hurrah from Boonen this year ?

It seems to have come round quickly this year! Last year I followed all the classics and had a couple of trips to Belgium...
Not convinced about Boonen, I think his days are in the past and there a some good younger riders around with a couple of classics seasons behind them...
There's something about the classics that always makes me get out on the bike...much more than the grand tours.

yup the classics are far the best part of the season
In reply to Henry Iddon:

I concur. I'm going over for flanders. Cobbles, beer, chocolate and frites.
I wonder if Sagan will be a bit luckier this year?
Quickstep are putting a fair squad out for omloop

Or even more of a marked man

Will that help or hinder them ?

I see Stannard is keeping his powder dry for Flanders and Roubaix, whilst Cav is at the track worlds, so I guess we won't see a repeat of the British double from last year, but should be interesting nonetheless

Spoiler alert - great start to the season for Lizzie

I wish the BBC or iTV4 would buy and show a highlights package. I presume Eurosport player is still just live streaming ?

Love them. Love the races, the fact that they denote the start of spring, love the fact that they are so unpredictable.

Two great races. what a great way to kick it off.

***Spoiler****:

Stuyven's win was amazing. staying away and keeping that gap with the peloton bearing down on him. the new Spartacus?
