I have a pair of Nepal Extremes that need re-soling. Can anyone recommend a re-soler (if that it the right expression) based on their experience. Thanks Mike

Yes: http://www.lancashiresportsrepairs.co.uk/walking_boot_repairs.htm - I've had a couple of pairs resoled during the past couple of years, been happy with them both.

I think I had mine done at Feetfirst in Chesterfield. Good price, quick turnaround and great results!

Mine were also done by Feetfirst many years ago. I was exceptionally happy with their customer service at the time.

I think I had mine done by Feetfirst, too. One thing to keep in mind might be availability of soles: when I had mine done, they were out of stock and I had to wait a few months for new ones to come in. Fortunately I had a spare pair of boots.

Agreed, planning ahead and giving them a call is often worth it. I got mine done one autumn, before it snowed in Scotland & after a trip to the Alps that summer.
